In Search Of Serenity is Rose's account of her family's odyssey that begins with her mother's diagnosis in Harlem as HIV positive and extends to Nairobi, Kenya, in hopes of a solution in Kemron. Rose challenges African Americans to recognize AIDS as one of the most serious problems facing Blacks worldwide and to respond with a concrete, community-based plan of action.
