Science and technology has been developed rapidly and today has become the global era. This is why we should have a comprehensive point of view, and question ourselves what the ideal human society is like, how we should live as human. It is time to reflect all of these. Nowadays, it’s the era of global technology, and as jobs become more specialized and segmented, as a result, an individual pays attention to a tree only; therefore, he or she cannot see forest as a whole picture. Humanity is said to be the lord of creation. However, I wonder if it means that various cultures and civilization were created simply because of development of the cerebrum, especially, the cerebral cortex and the frontal lobe. When we reflect on the history from the past until now, it is reality that so called negative assets such as several wars and conflicts, all the weapons developed and used, especially many nuclear weapons have benn stored. Also, society in Japan, there is no need to take the form of wars. Suicide can be said to be a result of war in a different form since it is largely caused by loss of confidence, isolation, loss of job, etc. due to excessive survival competition while we live as members of society. Engaged in research studies for effects of pesticides and other environmental pollutants on people at a core research department of Graduate School of Medicine and School of Medicine, Chiba University.
