【"Green Card" is a Must See.!!】 "Green Card" is one of my absolute favourite movies. I can watch it over and over again.!!!! Other movies of interest to me are "Pretty Woman" and "Dirty Rotten Scoundrells". Both with many funny and charming scenes. This movies is for the romantic type, who favours intelligent humouristic lines by great actors.★★★★★ I don't think that I entirely understood that I was viewing one of the best filming efforts of all time. I did, however, know that I was touched by the story of Bronte (Andie Macdowell) and George (Gerard Depardieu) who are introduced to one another at their wedding.***** They have arranged to be married so that George can get a green card and Bronte can move into a wonderful apartment with a beautiful greenhouse (she's a horticulturist). They have no plans to speak again but are thrust together by an impending immigration investigation. What ensues is one of the most carefully constructed plots that I can remember.!! Macdowell and Depardieu have a chemistry that is so unique. Just as the movie suggests, he is burly and off-color while she is the classic tea party variety. Beautiful, beautiful movie with an unexpected ending.+++++ IMO，he is handsome, sexy, interesting and worth so much more than just a few laughs!!!! So ... give this movie a try ... I bet you can find it in the 'old' section of your local movie store, and rent it for the discount rates at almost any video rental shop ... it's definitely worth the money.!!!!
