It is a great Japanese style family hotel. I enjoyed the time there. It is amazing how the host (an aged couple) could give such a warm service. As a traditional Japanese family hotel, it could not be comparable to a business hotel in e.g., toilet, shower... but it is a great way to enjoy real living in Kyoto.
