This onsen stated that it is free of charge for 0-2 years old, my son who is aged 2.5 years old which is under 3 years old but hotel charged me 2200 yen for meal per day when we checked out. I already told the staff, but he insists charge for little kids. The meal for 2200 yen is only serving a bowl of rice, miso soup and a cup of orange juice, unfortunately, my son was sick after taking their orange juice for 2 days. 2nd, their beddings are very dirty, we found on the second night, there was blood stain on the quilt cover. Hopefully they will improve their hygiene in the room.
