We had an unforgettable stay at Branchera Villa in the heart of the Japanese countryside. We were met by a very helpful staff who showed us around the premises which was well equipped and exquisitely renovated while still retaining its original structure from the 19th century. In the evening we were served a delicious traditional local dish of “Nabe” which we all ate together in the living room, after which we were treated with a bath in a huge ceramic bathtub which would easily fit the whole family.
A highlight of our stay was the surrounding Asuka village. It’s quiet, picturesque, and like taken straight out from My Neighbor Totoro. We rented a couple of bicycles which let us explore the historical sites in the area and learn about the origins of Japanese civilization.
It's a perfect place for a family or a couple looking for an authentic adventure into the historical countryside of Japan.

妻の誕生祝いに、茜の間に一泊しました。古民家の趣は最大限残しつつ、施設内は設備も最新で清潔かつ快適そのもの。陶器の大きな風呂も最高でした。 庭を見ながらの飛鳥鍋の夕食は、地鶏と地元産の新鮮野菜たっぷりで、これがまた最高。お腹いっぱいになり、超分厚いマットレスのベットで、早々に熟睡しました。 朝も美味しいお弁当で大満足。飛鳥寺や水落遺跡、直売所などをブラブラ散歩しまたお風呂。ギリギリまでたっぷりと満喫させてもらいました。 飲み物が持込なのも、かえって気兼ねなく好きなだけ飲めるのでいいなぁと思いました。 かなりレベルの高い高級旅館並みの施設にして、この価格はかなりリーズナブルなのではないかと思いました。奈良県の旅割も使えたので！ いい思い出になりました。
先日は、お世話になりました。非日常の空間。 贅沢なひとときを、過ごせました。 ただ一つ、 ベットの床の段差と、寝室からトイレへの段差。 お年寄りには、ヒヤリハット事例がありました。 改善の余地は、難しそうですが…, 上記以外、大満足の宿泊でした。ありがとうございました。

ただただ、素晴らしかったです。奈良市に住んでおり、飛鳥の地を訪れるのは小学校の遠足以来でしたが、町全体がキレイに整備されており、住みたい街になりました。 宿のお部屋も素敵で、寒い日でしたが、お部屋が暖かくていつまでもいたいと思いました。次の日は生憎の雨でしたが、出掛けずにお部屋でのんびり過ごさせていただきました。あっという間に時間が過ぎてしまい、もう一泊すれば良かったと後悔しました。お風呂も暖房が付いており、寒くなかったですし、みんな長湯してました。 お庭にはイタチが遊びに来て、かわいい姿に癒されました。 駐車場が雨で足元がジュクジュクになり、それだけが、残念でした。 それ以外は素晴らしくて、また絶対利用させていただきます。 これからも長谷工さんの明日香プロジェクト、楽しみにしています。
万葉集、奈良飛鳥好きの祖母と2人で行きました。 お部屋やお風呂、お庭など素敵でゆっくり過ごさせて頂きました。 かなり広さがあるため、大人数で無いぶん寒々としてしまうかと思いましたが、全ての床に床暖房(最初は付いているのかわからない程度の温度に感じましたが、ずっと座っていても熱くなり過ぎず春~初夏の畳や床の温度感のような無意識に気持ちいいな、という感じ)があったためかそこまで気にならず、快適でした。 テーブルが掘り炬燵式なのも良かったです。 飛鳥鍋も美味しかったです。 トイレは多機能かつスタイリッシュで20代の私としてはとても良かったのですが、流すボタンの位置が色味やサイズ等の関係で祖母には見つけづらかったようだったので、同行者に高齢者がいる場合は先に確認した方が良いかもしれません。 また、提携駐車場が若干離れるので祖母のみ先に降ろして外で待っていてもらうつもりでしたが、たまたま近くにいらっしゃったスタッフの方のご配慮で近場で一時駐車をして荷下ろし/チェックインを先にさせて頂きました。 基本はセルフチェックインのお宿なので、荷物が多い等の場合は事前確認をおすすめします。 飛鳥寺や飛鳥坐神社等へも徒歩5分以内で行け、滞在中に足を運べるとても便利な立地でした。(コンビニはローソンが700m先にあるだけなので持ち込み予定の方は注意) また、茜の間にはかなり珍しい(らしい)万葉集関連書籍もある本棚があり、入江泰吉の大判本に祖母は大変喜んでいました。 古い建物の雰囲気を残しつつ上手くリノベしてあるお宿で、総合的にとても満足です。 祖母も宿を気に入り、嬉しそうで良かったです。 ありがとうございました。
